How to Check & Replace (General Steps):
- Power Off & Unplug:Â Always disconnect power first.
- Access Firepot:Â Remove grates, drip tray, heat shield, and vacuum ash.
- Remove Old:Â Loosen set screw, pull out the old hot rod from the firepot.
- Install New:Â Connect the new unit, often taping wires to guide them, and secure it.
